Construction Square Ltd began its journey at the end of 2019, originally founded as Cold Square Ltd with a vision to specialise in the design and construction of niche cold storage environments, the inspiration behind the original name. However, the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic prompted a strategic pivot. As the construction landscape evolved, so did we, transitioning from domestic refurbishments to a fully B2B-focused construction company.

Self-funded and family-run, our leadership is built on shared commitment and decades of construction and business experience overseas, combining cross-generational insight with strategic direction. We navigated the challenges of lockdown with resilience, gradually expanding our capabilities. Emerging from that period, we built out the company’s operational infrastructure, regulatory licensing, software systems, and internal resources to support commercial delivery across both public and private sectors. Our directors bring a combination of practical site leadership and formal qualifications, ensuring each project is grounded in technical expertise and real-world experience.

Today, we are formally known as Construction Square Ltd, reflecting our core focus on comprehensive construction services. We continue to operate under our established trade names, Construction Square®, Cleaning Square®, and Cold Square® for their respective specialist divisions, maintaining the expertise and flexibility that shaped our journey.
